Every time I browse though galleries here on dA, I find myself in awe of people's talent. And I'm not just talking about people who can draw masterpieces that leaves your mind boggling, rather at the ability of a 13 or 14 year old to create something beautiful out of nothing.
And though beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I consider all Art to be beautiful, for it is the manifestation of the Artist's imagination, be it a scribble with a simple pencil of a goofy looking boy or a girl on a plain white piece of paper, or an intricate realistic 3D rendering of an object or a person that is so real that it leaves your jaw dropping to the ground.
And Every time I come upon Original Art like that, I wish to myself that I could draw.
Art is indeed a wondrous thing, for its ability to provoke all kinds of emotion within, Indeed, original Art can never be ugly, simply because its original, it sincere, and it comes straight from the heart.
Admittedly I am no Artist, And I envy that kind of creativity and uniqueness, and I wish to myself that i could draw.
The only way I can see past this, is to encourage every young artist no matter what their specialty or talent.
And as for you not being an artist, pshh bull crap. Just because you don't draw doesn't mean you're not an artist. You have great talent, your art is just in another media. Its still enjoyed and admired by many.
That is exactly what I'm talking about, I'm talking about these people who aren't typically considered "talented" and can't draw like wizards, yet they do it because they feel it, the ability to imagine alone makes them artists, and even though one might not consider their art to be worthy of critique, I would still find it enjoyable to look at, and i'm not talking about traditional drawing, but all types of original art.
And yeah, I've been pretty good lately, I'm steadily coming back and resuming my activity on dA after a period of hiatus
how's about you my dear?
